Date Night in the Sky

After a few crazy weeks back to work,

Ian treated me to an awesome date night

...in the sky...

Hutong is a delish Chinese restaurant in the Shard.

We drank Ruinart Rose

(my fave... always)

and ate dim sum, crispy duck and abalone salad.

It was a great experience,

and a much-needed "us" night.

 Oh... and the view is pretty incredible.

The Shard is the tallest building in Europe.

72 floors.

Pretty awesome!

2014 in a nutshell

We made some amazing memories in 2014

and we're very much looking forward to doing the same in 2015.

 Lots of adventures to be had...

 (and we hope visitors!)

Italy is first on the list.

Bologna was booked just a few days into the New Year,

and we're crossing our fingers for a trip to India and Sri Lanka in March.

Here are some of my favourite moments and memories of 2014.

NYE 2014

I ended 2014 off with one of my very favourite FL girls!

Kat and John were traveling back from Bali 

and made a pit stop to see us.

We did a bit of exploring while they were here, 

but we were set to have tons of fun on NYE.

It started with dinner at our flat with Marcus & Lucy.

Champagne, champagne and more champagne were had with dinner

and then we headed out for drinks and dancing! 

Madison is a rooftop bar overlooking St Paul's Cathedral.

It has indoor and outdoor space...

and we had one of the best tables in the house. 

Full view of St Paul's, plus an awesome view of the fireworks!

Magnums of Moet and Belvedere.

And dancing... crazy dancing by the boys

and tons of laughter!

I couldn't have asked for a better way to end 2014

and start 2015.
